What is it that you do when you don't make art?
The present project is an exercise of honesty, the works being an attempt to give visual expression to a certain lifestyle, to the typical bohemia of the ‚artist’ which does not as yet exist. The initial intent was neither critique, nor bragging, but simply a romanticist documentation of the time ‚wasted’ as a student.
The works represent an accumulation of fragments from the quotidian, each of them giving a different reply to the hypothetical question ‚What is it that you do when you don’t make art?’. They symbolize the confessional need to ‚record’ daily routines, which I used to suppress my creative blockage in.
